Your hearing specialist will begin by discussing your hearing concerns with you, reviews the information you originally provided, and asks you for more details to understand your needs.

Your hearing instrument specialist looks into your ears with a video-otoscope, a small camera which projects a video image of the inside of your ear on a TV screen. The video-otoscope is no bigger than the hand held otoscope most doctors use to check your ears. You will be told what you are seeing and any implications it has regarding your hearing.

  • CONTINGENCY: If it is discovered that you have an infection or other medical condition requiring a physician's attention, we can give you a list of several doctors who are Ear, Nose and Throat specialists in the area, and can assist you in making an appointment with one of them.
